Let me tell you about myself…
I started my business when I was 19 years old. And, yes this is SUPER cheesy, but all I had was a beginners crop sensor camera with a cheap kit lens. This was before the rise of YouTube tutorials, star-studded photography workshops in Vegas and photography “life hacks”.
I read books but I really learned from just trying things out. I asked my friends and family to pose for me, trying out different lighting scenarios, poses, outfits and direction. After a few sessions, I began getting traction and was able to grow my photography business 100% organically.
A few sessions for friends turned into a wedding for a friend’s friend, which turned into weddings for people who I have never met. Senior portraits for high schoolers who found me on social media. Grand weddings for couples who found my website on Google.
